The awaited worldwide release of what some people in the music business are calling "The next 100 years of music distribution" will make its debut during the largest music conference in the world next week. Digimusicard and its secure content delivery system will be unveiled at a private ceremony at the Carlton Hotel on the coast of Cannes, where the CEO of Vital Digital LLC Gerardo Alton-Ortega has secured important licensing and worldwide distribution deals. "We are in the first steps of making Digimusicard the next standard in full album sales around the world, it was our dream many years ago and now it is becoming a reality" Alton-Ortega said. Digimusicard is a secure content delivery system that allows people to download a full music album manually or by swiping the card. Its technology makes it impossible to replicate or copy and it is more secure than many Credit Cards and Debit Cards. "Each Digimusicard we print guarantees our clients one content delivery, and it′s magneprint technology makes it impossible to replicate, say good-by to music piracy" he finished. Vital Digital LLC has worldwide patents pending on this full album card distribution system and has recently started licensing its system around the world.
Digi-cards will be capable of being distributed in more than 20,000 retail outlets around the United States by April of 2008, a Vital Digital LLC spokesman said today. The manufacturer of the secure content delivery system via a credit-card-like product said that most of their Digi-cards (Digimusicards, Digimoviecards, etc.) will have one of the best distribution channels via a renowned Calling Card distribution company which was not disclosed due to the ongoing contract negotiations, however Gerardo Alton-Ortega CEO of Vital Digital was quoted as saying "It′s a done deal, we have the product, they have the means and it is the last piece of our turn-key efforts to deliver the most advanced secure content delivery system to our clients". Vital Digital LLC executives are also expected to travel to China and Europe to close distribution deals using Digi-cards technology later this year.
Sony BMG announced it will launch a series of digital album cards for 37 of their Artists on January 15th of 2008. The cards, based on the retail point-of-sale to full album secure download system, created by Digimusicard will be distributed in more than 4,500 retail outlets making them the first major label using this technology. Universal and Warner are expected to join later this year. "This is a victory for our technology. Having a giant like Sony BMG embracing this system gives us the credibility and vindication that these cards are the next step in music distribution" commented Gerardo Alton-Ortega CEO of Vital Digital LLC, parent company of Digimusicard."Our product is no longer an independent experiment but the next global e-file distribution system".
Digi-cards will be impossible to replicate now that they will be encrypted using the most advanced Magstripe Card security system created by Magtek (www.magtek.com) . All Digi-cards will be programmed using Magneprint technology (http://www.magneprint.com) making them the most secure and impossible to replicate cards in the world. Also, Digi-cards will be fully compatible with all Magtek readers including the new consumer friendly magstripe readers to be released in early 2008 in their portable and computer accessory format. ?It is like Sony Electronics meets the CD creators in 1983, but only now, for the future of media distribution? said Gerardo Alton- Ortega (CEO) of Vital Digital LLC parent company of Digi-cards.com and its worldwide patents.
The new Digimuscard system of music distribution and sales has been approved by IFPI (International Federation of Phonographic Industry) and RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). Even though Vital Digital LLC, the parent company of Digimusicard, does not need to become a member of any of the organizations, it will keep them informed and report on production and sales of its product. Digimusicard was created as a new method of music distribution, which makes it almost impossible to duplicate and therefore aids in the fight of music piracy worldwide. Digimusicards are the next "CDs" and we expect to grow in the upcoming years as a "newest option of music distribution" worldwide.
Gerardo Alton-Ortega, founder and inventor of Digi-cards, has started talks with some trans-national recording labels and soon Digimusicards will be available to all Artists signed with major labels. "Some major labels have approched us, and talks have been very fluent and we expect to have new releases of albums by major recording Artists before the end of the year. Labels have noted the savings in manufacturing and shipping our product gives to music distribution and it was only a matter of time" Alton-Ortega said. Digimusicards have become independent Artists way to go for their music and album distribution, because of their convenient size, costs, and the information and demographic information they generate and receive from their music buyers.
